Technical Consultant & Geologist, Nevada Exploration Program

Tom Callicrate is an independent consultant and Owner of Mountain Gold Claims, LLC, (MGC) a generative, mineral exploration and consulting company based in Reno, Nevada, USA.  Mr. Callicrate has over 35 years as an exploration geologist, focused primarily on generating and conducting grass-roots exploration in the Great Basin of the Western US with a primary focus on Nevada.  He has done exploration work in Alaska, Honduras and Venezuela.  Mr. Callicrate has wide experience in exploring for precious metals systems, including gold, silver and platinum group metals, placer gold deposits, base metals-massive sulfide systems, diamonds, gemstones and industrial minerals.

Discoveries credited to or, participated in, by Mr. Callicrate, include the Lincoln Hill gold-silver deposit in north-central Nevada of which he is an owner. The Lincoln Hill Project also includes an unusual, industrial-semi-precious gem mineral deposit that Mr. Callicrate is developing as a separate commercial asset. Other discoveries he personally made or assisted with include the Gemfield, Midway and Castle gold-silver deposits in south-central Nevada; Midas, Big Springs and Wood Gulch gold deposits in northern Nevada; Cahuilla gold-silver deposit in southern California and Eureka Creek Ni-Cu-Co-PGE deposit in central Alaska.

Mr. Callicrate began his career working as a field exploration geologist for several major and junior companies, including Freeport Exploration, FMC, Romarco Minerals, Electrum Resources, AuEx Ventures-Renaissance Gold, US Borax, and Kennecott Exploration. After building a strong base of field exploration skills, Mr. Callicrate moved on to get involved as co-founder and in senior corporate levels with start-up junior mining companies, such as Western Goldfield (TSX:WGI/OTC-BB:WGD) He was instrumental in the acquisition and development of Western Goldfield’s +4m oz.
